Splitter to separate the RS485 (DMX/RDM) interface to 4 individual interfaces.
Increased safety, eg in the event of a short circuit, only one "branch" fails.
Signal processing and lower BUS load.
For larger DMX systems with more than 30 - 40 DMX devices, it is recommended to use a DMX splitter (hub).
The advantages at a glance:
- Bus load is distributed over 4 channels
- In the event of a short circuit on one channel, the remaining three channels have full functionality
- Signal processing through stabilized BUS power supply
- Full duplex operation eg with DMX RDM
- Up to 128 RS485 (DMX) participants per channel possible
- Simpler and clearer cabling possible through individual channels (E.g. separate floors KG/EG/OG/outside)
DMX sources (Sender) with a small number of physical DMX participants (often only 32 devices),
can be easily expanded to up to 512 physical participants with the DMX/RDM splitter.
Thanks to the integrated voltage converter, there is always a 100% stable supply voltage on the BUS, independently
from the supply voltage of the DMX/RDM splitter.
